November has started off pretty good so far. I feel like I waited for October to end and didn't appreciate it as much as I could of but that's okay. There's always next year.

This past weekend I went to Vegas with Tim and a couple of friends. We shared a 100oz Pina Colada. It was fun.
Our room was nice but it took us like 20 minutes just to walk out of the building onto the strip. They purposely make you walk through a maze of slot machines and shops before you reach the exit.lol

Overall the trip was a great escape from reality. For 4 days it was like everything was perfect. It was a great 4 year anniversary trip.

Now to mail,
All incoming from last week and this week..

Outgoing mail (not a lot but it's something..)

October is trucking a long and I am trying really hard to enjoy everything about it.

The weather is finally changing! It just started raining about an hour ago and we have some thunder too!

I have been doing a lot of thinking about life and I know things are changing. Last night in my meditation/ Dharma education class we learned that everything is impermanent and every second of the day is an opportunity to start a new beginning. Today Tim's mother shared the exact same quote with me. I am taking it as a sign. I feel really positive and optimistic today.

These last couple months have been really hard on Tim and I. I honestly don't think we'll make it to our 4 year anniversary on the 31st. I've been trying really hard to fix things but nothing is working and he's no longer putting any effort. We've been here before but I don't think we can recover from this one. I don't see us getting back together again if we do break up.

Anyways, keeping it positive here are some of my Halloween themed incoming and outgoing mail.
I am finally sitting down and replying to everyone. I have mail from late August that I still have not responded to >.<

September was not a very good month for me but it's October now! I LOVE OCTOBER! I think EVERYONE loves October! I can't wait for the cool weather so I can wear sweaters and cozy things.

I have not worked/replied to any mail since late August I believe. I just felt like laying in bed all month, it sucked.  But things are changing now and I will not let that happen again! I have already started working on Halloween cards and replied to a few letters.

The only thing I have to show for last month is the two pieces I submitted for the Postmarked 2012 exhibit and silent auction. Yesterday was the opening night and I actually went (I wasn't sure if I wanted to go or now, i dont know why). It was amazing. I love mail art and I love that other people love it too and it all goes to a good cause.

Some mail from the last few weeks,

Outgoing-

I think it's going to take me a little while longer to reply to everyone's mail since I am back in school.

So my boyfriend's mother introduced me to this group on facebook called Art Abandonment (http://www.facebook.com/groups/ArtAbandonment/) and we're both working on little things to leave around. It's actually really fun. I am hoping to start abandoning this week.

Here's a couple of random photos off my camera..

Forgot to share some of my camping pictures from last weekend,

The L.A. County fair was okay. We sneaked in alcohol since they over charge everything there. I felt like such a rebel. However it was way too hot and we were all ready for a nap not even 2 hours into the day.lol
At least they had a new exhibit dedicated to geniuses. They had a post office ( I don't remember what the meaning behind it was though lol)

I have to say that the highlight of this weekend was when my mother came home with a rolling cart full of sewing supplies and things. She only paid $7 for everything...I leave you all with pictures....

I've listed most of the stuff on my etsy: http://www.etsy.com/shop/APeachyLife

School is back in session and my mind is still in vacation mode. Good thing I have a 6-day weekend!
I only go to school Mondays and Wednesdays so I don't go back until next Wednesday ..love it!

Tomorrow is the L.A. County fair and it's only $1 to get in so that's where I'll be. I have gone to the fair's opening day or weekend every year for the last 18 years. Never missed a year, even when I had a cast on my leg in 7th grade.

Here is my last embroidery made for a penpal...

I had a little trouble with the flowers. I realized it is easier drawing them first than doing them free hand. Still love how it came out though.

Officially one week left until summer is over. This summer was definitely more laid back and I didn't really accomplish a lot but it still felt nice. no regrets.

I really did a lot of snail mail activities though and that was on my summer-to-do-list....wherever that may be.

There's been a lot of mail coming and going this past week though,

Incoming

box of buttons and postcard from Mary. I still haven't gotten over how awesome this was!
